Scheduling & Logistics

Sessions are available online, in person, or a combination of both, whatever fits the student's schedule and learning style best.

Format Options

Online (Live Video)

Live one-on-one sessions conducted over video call. Well suited for cognitive review, practice questions, and scenario walkthroughs.

In-Person

Face-to-face sessions, particularly useful for psychomotor (skills) practice where hands-on correction matters.

Hybrid

A mix of online sessions for content review and in-person sessions for skills practice, often the most effective combination for EMT exam prep.

Session Structure

1-on-1 and Group sessions run a fixed 60 minutes. Exam Review and Exam Group Review sessions are intentionally uncapped and priced per session rather than by the hour. Most run 75 to 90 minutes, with more involved reviews occasionally running closer to two hours. Sessions are built around each student's current in-class coursework and materials, rather than a separate outside curriculum.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Life happens, especially in EMT school. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, just reach out as soon as you know. There's no penalty, and we'll find a new time that works. For Ride Along and Standing Order members who need to pause mid-term, reach out directly and we'll work out an arrangement that fits your situation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to have completed my EMT course before starting tutoring?

We offer tutoring services for both during school and after, with NREMT prep. Even if you've passed the NREMT and just want a refresher, we can do that too!

Can sessions focus only on the skills exam, or only the written exam?

The sessions are designed to build your foundational knowledge so that you are able to pass both, but they will be focused more on the classroom environment. If you have a good foundation in the classroom, you should be able to reason through issues and problems during the psychomotor portions of your class as they arise.

What if I need to reschedule?
